Ms. Allison enjoys working with kids because it allows her to connect with her inner child and see the world from their eyes. “Their laughter is contagious and it’s amazing to watch kids learn and grow and be a part of their journey.” – says Ms. Allison.

With her Associate’s degree in Child & Adolescent Development, a Qualified Infant/Toddler Teacher, Ms. Allison has experience as a head teacher, working with various ages and mostly in the toddler classroom with one to two-year-olds. She is also currently working towards her degree in social work.

“I believe that young children should learn through play, where they have the independence to choose from a variety of activities what they are drawn to. Children are able to grow into emotionally healthy individuals when their feelings are respected and they are given gentle guidance.”

Partnering with families for Ms. Allison is also important to ensure that children have consistency and feel safe and at home when they are at school. Ms. Allison loves animals: she has a cat and a crested gecko and sometimes even fosters kittens.
