“This place is awesome! My infant son, our first, goes here and is so happy. Bringing him anywhere tore at our heartstrings, as I’m sure it does for any parent. Let me say, bringing him to a place where his face lights up into a huge smile when he sees his teachers makes it a whole lot easier to part with him for the work day. The caretakers are knowledgable and caring. Did I mention my son loves them? I can occasionally work from home, but I feel like leaving him at Scuttlebugs where he has baby friends and he loves his teachers provides a better day for him than when I can only pay him partial attention because of my work. They also provide age-appropriate activities. Instead of letting him lie down all day because he can’t sit up or crawl, they hold him, sit him in boppies, and give him tummy time so that his muscles can develop and he can learn to sit and crawl. They also provide EVERYTHING, which other daycares do not: diapers, cream, sheets, blankets, formula (not breast milk ;)), food, spare bibs, etc. Everyone seems to know my son’s name, not just the infant teachers. When I bring him in, I feel like I’m part of his entourage and he is a famous star.
