As a first-time mom, I couldn’t have been more overwhelmed about choosing the right childcare, and I’m so grateful to have found Scuttlebugs. My daughter thrived there from infancy through preschool because of the attentive and thoughtful owners, passionate and dedicated teachers, and all-around positive, fun and creative environment. We always felt so welcomed, and our daughter was excited about learning, exploring and seeing her teachers and friends each day. We moved to a new city recently, or else we would have stayed until grade school. I recommend them wholeheartedly! Hannah L. was last modified: September 24th, 2019 by Yulia Onosovskaya

Our son (3yo) has been attending Scuttlebugs for six months. We moved him from another nearby daycare due to poor quality of care there. WE LOVE SCUTTLEBUGS. It is an amazing school and we are so happy we moved him there. The teachers are fantastic, so patient and caring and we can just see the amazing new things he’s learning. We went to a recent birthday party and the (former!) Director, and the Pre-K teacher, came to the kid’s birthday party! It was 4th of July, and they took time out of THEIR holiday to come to a school child’s party. That was honestly just so sweet. The school is great – I love their approach to education at this age (focused on play) and they share a lot of pictures, videos and blog posts. It’s nice getting to see your kiddo having fun. They are just really ON IT. They are super duper organized which is great. They get a ton of outside time, and the “indoor gym” is really nice for rainy weather. When our son started, it was winter and constantly raining, so the fact that he could still get his energy out was great. They have Tuff Tumblers come in for optional EXTRA activities, which is awesome. We’ve had our kiddo in soccer class since day one. We just don’t have time for stuff like that on the weekends…! The other thing is that Scuttlebugs MAKES OUR LIVES SO EASY. We just drop him off. They provide breakfast, all snacks, healthy …

Both of my kids currently attend Scuttlebugs and have gone there since they were only 6 months old. My daughter is now 4 and a half and my son is almost 2. This place has been such an irreplaceable part of my children’s lives, they both have such an amazing time there! My daughter is in the pre-k room with Ms. Nicole and Ms. Tasha. They make that room an amazingly fun and educational environment, my daughter always comes home with new fun facts or new skills she wants to share and practice. Ms. Nicole is the lead and it’s clear how hard she works to make her classroom one of the best! Her dedication to the children’s growing minds and bodies puts me at ease that my daughter is getting the best experience I could ask for. She puts together an all-star curriculum that keeps all the children engaged, safe, and smiling all day; I honestly don’t know how she does it. My son is in the Toddler room with Ms. Gina, Ms. Darriane, and Ms. Connie. He has such a great time in that class! He’s always doing new artwork, working on his gross and fine motor skills, and learning new words. All the teachers really help in the morning as my son sometimes has separation anxiety but they make him feel safe and loved; I couldn’t ask for more! Scuttlebugs has it all! Highly recommend it for any parent that is looking for a fun, safe, and educational environment for their children …

We loved being part of the amazing loving Scuttlebugs family. My son just graduated PreK this year! My favorite teachers were Ms. Nicole, Ms. Tiffani and Ms. Anna. I’m forever so grateful to Scuttlebugs for creating such a loving and nurturing environment for my son -he’s such a sensitive little guy. Ms. Nicole, his Pre K teacher was a dream come true teacher. Truly a one in a million teacher. She made school so enjoyable, makes the kids feel so comfortable and has so much patience with with the kids. She always made sure they knew they were being heard. She listened very closely to all of them. You can tell she really loves the kids and what she does. Thank you Scuttlebugs and your wonderful teachers for such an amazing, fun filled experience. I’m forever so grateful. Olivia L. was last modified: July 8th, 2019 by Yulia Onosovskaya

We loved Scuttlebugs! Starting with my first at 1.5 yo and then my second at 8 months old we called Scuttlebugs home for 2 years, only leaving due to buying a home. My kiddos loved the indoor gym, their teachers, friends and the yummy food made onsite. Mommy and daddy loved how everything is included. For busy working parents the last thing I want to worry about is washing daycare sheets or them running out of diapers. There really isn’t anything Scuttlebugs is missing! My daughter attended Scuttlebugs from 15 months until almost 3 until we moved. She started in the infant room, and graduated up all the way to preschool room. I always felt Scuttlebugs was like a family. Super clean, super professional, and they care so much for each child. I have nothing but amazing things to say about the entire team! extra bonus, my daughter potty trained in about one week with the support of the Toddler Room teachers! My daughter loved it there, and we felt she was very advanced with her speech and academics! Tara B. was last modified: February 8th, 2019 by Yulia Onosovskaya

We as first time parents had a lot of questions and concerns when it came to finding the right day care. Our research placed Scuttlebugs on the top of the list, and we were extremely pleased to find that out experience matched their reputation within a short span of time. Our 2 year old is shy but he absolutely loved going to ‘school’ and adapted to the place within days. His teachers, Greta and Emma are amazing – calm, consistent and most importantly, loving and caring. The center maintains high standard of hygiene, safety and has a variety of activities to encourage learning organically. I appreciate the daily reports they send and the administrative staff is friendly and attentive as well. They are definitely doing great work and worth the bit of extra fees as compared to other places in the area. Supratip M. was last modified: January 31st, 2019 by Yulia Onosovskaya

The best school for us in the area! My son loved being there every day. We watched our son excel in every area: academically, physically and getting fantastic social skills. The teachers are wonderful! We simply loved it! I recommend highly ScuttleBugs Child Development Center! Ralitza G. was last modified: September 21st, 2018 by Yulia Onosovskaya

Scuttlebugs was a game-changer for our family. It was the only preschool in our area that didn’t hold kids back on curriculum just because they weren’t potty trained by a specific time. We were at our wits end at our prior school. Our son had significant potty training delay and was held in a classroom with much younger children. He was sad, bored, and acting out. Scuttlebugs changed all that, and so much more. He has enjoyed an awesome and fun curriculum over the past 15 months. The teachers are loving, patient but firm, and are loyal to Scuttlebugs. I have seen them cry talking about our kids, because they care for them so much. Scuttlebugs costs a bit more than other places, but you can always tell why. They are constantly improving and replacing worn equipment, making improvements to the space, and have the loyalty of their staff and teachers. Oh, and you’ll get spoiled by how they supply *everything* (food, blankets, diapers, sunscreen, etc.) We are sorry to leave, but know we will have friends at Scuttlebugs forever. We have been at Scuttlebugs since 2015 and sadly have to say goodbye as we move out of the state. We were late to the game on getting into a childcare facility but Sam understood our dilemma and helped us formulate a plan to get our son into the facility as close as possible to when I was to return to work, a few partial weeks here and there actually helped me adjust to full time so that was a bonus! This past January we had the opportunity to have our daughter join our son at Scuttlebugs but not before we did all our homework on other facilities, costs, value for what you get and quality of care providers. There just was not something else out there that made me as comfortable as Scuttlebugs for many reasons. The first being Miss Lala, she has a way with infants that allows them to explore their entire personality and express it as well. She helps them communicate through signage language, knows when the littlest thing might be off with your babe and also teaches them manners, which I love! Miss Perla will rock your babies and take them to music class so they get exposed to culture, sounds and love as early as possible. This duo has been there since the start and I know my kids adore them. That is just the infant room, we have been through the toddler room, Jr Preschool and Preschool as well. These rooms have amazing teachers as well, Miss Greta …
