With over 16 years of dedicated experience in Early Childhood Education, Ms. Lisa brings to ScuttleBugs a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for fostering young minds. Lisa’s impressive academic background includes a Master of Arts in ECE Leadership, a Bachelor’s degree in ECE, and an Associate degree in ECE. She is also LETRS certified and has extensive training in the Pyramid Model and DIBELS, ensuring she leads with the latest research-based practices in child development.
Throughout her career, Lisa has worked with children from infancy through school age in diverse settings, including public schools and private childcare. Her journey has seen her excel in roles ranging from classroom teaching and curriculum planning to mentoring fellow educators and senior leadership. As a Director, she is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels a sense of belonging and confidence.

Ms Lisa’s teaching philosophy is centered around building strong relationships with children and families while creating developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences. She values diversity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching practices. Ms. Lisa believes parents are essential partners in education, and open communication and collaboration are key to supporting each child’s success.
Outside of the center, Ms. Lisa is an avid explorer and a self-proclaimed foodie. She loves traveling with her family (she has 5 girls!), discovering hidden gems in the local restaurant scene, and exploring new places across California.
