My son started attending Scuttlebugs in the infant room and was there from around 4 months old before moving to the toddler room at almost 14 months old. With frequent communication with his caregivers, I felt very comfortable having him there every day. That was very important to me, especially when he was very young. A special thanks to Ms. La in the infant room who has a wonderful understanding of what is developmentally appropriate, as well as how to nurture the little ones’ budding personalities. It was a smooth transition to the toddler room, where the teachers there are warm and friendly. I like how they help the children with new experiences, such as marking on paper with chalk or crayons, in addition to the “cute” art projects (though I love those too!). One more thing to mention is that the meals cooked on site are healthy and the children are exposed to a wide variety of foods. One less thing for busy families to worry about.
