Amazing school! My daughter has been attending ScuttleBugs for over one year now and we are very happy here. Teachers are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Management has many great programs in place including field trips (that allow parents to participate in), dance classes, gymnastics, arts, theater, etc…and a great outdoors covered playground area. Their meal program is outstanding and their facility is clean. They are also secure facility. Management does a great job addressing all parents concerns immediately and professionally. I have interviewed many other daycares before deciding on this place. Sam is amazing leader and I feel blessed with this daycare..my girl is very happy here. I believe I have made a great decision choosing ScuttleBugs and will continue to refer people over. This is the place to be if you are in need of daycare or preschool services. I am a parent and I absolutely love this place. It’s more than just a daycare to my son and I, it’s his 2nd home. Every morning he’s greeted by friends, fellow classmates, and his teachers with love and all around joy. Ms.Nicole, Anna, Perla and Mr.Julian. And the directors have been more than lovely. Ms.Sam and Ashley have been the most Understanding In my times of need and made me feel comfortable and welcome. They work well with me and greatly with my son. He’s learning everything I feel he needs and more, and his comprehension is outstanding. I love this place and have recommended to my friends and family and will continue to do so. Thank you Scuttlebugs. Johnny D. was last modified: September 21st, 2018 by geoff

We moved to the bay area in Oct 2016 for work. After looking at several places, the choice was clear. They provided us with two trial sessions, which is amazing. Our son aged 2 went to this school for roughly 7 months. He made friends, learned so many new words, improved his communication. We loved this place, all the teachers were amazing. Scuttlebugs provides a clean, healthy and happy learning place for kids. Ashley and Eunice in the management team are very helpful and accommodating. ScuttleBugs is my 2 year old son’s second home. ScuttleBugs is the only daycare he’s ever been to. He started here when he was about a year and a half. Let me start by saying I had severe anxiety about my son going to daycare with people I didn’t know. I expressed to Ashley, the director, how nervous I was but she reassured me that it’s a natural feeling and that he will be loved and taken care of just as I would. Security is extremely important to them. The center is gated, you need a badge to enter the center and to get into the rooms which made me feel sooo much better. I love this place. All of the teachers and staff are awesome and my son loves all of them so much. They have so many activities the kids can do which is great because my hyper son is always able to do something whether it’s playing on the play structure, running around outside or in the gym, painting, learning new cooking recipes, playing with toys and so much more. My son has learned so much at ScuttleBugs. I love that education is very important here. They also helped wean my son from the pacifier (Phew!!) and when he’s ready they will help with potty training which is a HUGE +++! Another HUGEEE plus is diapers, meals, snacks, and pretty much everything they will need throughout the day is all inclusive. I never have to bring lunch, diapers, and wipes which saves …

“I have toured/observed almost a hundred Centers over the last 6 years and Scuttlebugs is one the BEST centers you can take your children. Scuttlebugs and Google are my top two picks. Scuttlebugs provides a clean, safe, spacious, warm and loving environment.  My oldest daughter began in the infant room and is now in the Pre-K. My youngest daughter is almost a year old and has been in the infant room since she was only 3 months old. It was incredibly difficult to leave my baby at three months old but the teachers are very reassuring and I couldn’t imagine bringing her anywhere else. My oldest daughter is going to Kindergarden next year and I can’t stop worrying about her safety in a public school. Cognitively, socialy and academic wise I know that she is ready but I feel SAFE bringing her to Scuttlebugs as I have for the last 4 years because I know its a secure Center. When I was in the hospital last year my mother went to pick up my daughter for the first time so the teachers had never met my mother before. My mother explained that she was stopped twice before even getting into my daughters classroom and was then asked to see her ID! I don’t understand why any parent would complain about this safety procedure!! I love it!  Scuttlebugs is a CLEAN and spacious environment! This was actually one the first things that captured my attention because I was used to seeing so many Centers with brightly …

“Before I enrolled my first daughter 2 1/2 years ago I visited many childcare centers. This one was the only one that I would even consider. I liked that they offer good and healthy meals, the teachers are friendly and competent and seem to care for each child individually.  Now, after 2 1/2 years I just signed my second child up for the two’s room. I am still grateful every day that I am fortunate to afford having my children in Scuttlebugs. My kids thrive and couldn’t be happier. They love to be there. I get weekly and monthly updates and know exactly what’s going on in their school life. If you have a question, the teachers always have a moment for you. They know the families. The staff is so competent that I learned a lot on the way… Next year I’m going to happily enroll my 3rd child. One thing that I could say, but this seems to be a problem in all the schools, the kids have water available all day but don’t get encouraged enough to drink. So my kids are always thirsty after school. I would recommend this child care center to anybody!” Johanna B. was last modified: January 23rd, 2017 by geoff

“I am a mother of 2,5 and my daughter has been in Two’s class. Miss Indira, Miss Jen and Miss Chimi has been always so nice and loving to my kid. They are all wonderful and my daughter loves them all. She started to learn good manners since she attended to the school.  It is a clean facility. They supply everything there (no additional costs): Diapers, sunscreen, daily meals. I always pick up my daughter happy, sometimes she does not want to leave the facility and she ask me every morning for school (she goes for 3 days). This was very important for me and I am glad I found a place that my daughter is happy!” Reyhan M. was last modified: January 23rd, 2017 by geoff

“This place is awesome!  My infant son, our first, goes here and is so happy.  Bringing him anywhere tore at our heartstrings, as I’m sure it does for any parent.  Let me say, bringing him to a place where his face lights up into a huge smile when he sees his teachers makes it a whole lot easier to part with him for the work day.  The caretakers are knowledgable and caring.  Did I mention my son loves them?  I can occasionally work from home, but I feel like leaving him at Scuttlebugs where he has baby friends and he loves his teachers provides a better day for him than when I can only pay him partial attention because of my work.  They also provide age-appropriate activities.  Instead of letting him lie down all day because he can’t sit up or crawl, they hold him, sit him in boppies, and give him tummy time so that his muscles can develop and he can learn to sit and crawl.  They also provide EVERYTHING, which other daycares do not: diapers, cream, sheets, blankets, formula (not breast milk ;)), food, spare bibs, etc.  Everyone seems to know my son’s name, not just the infant teachers. When I bring him in, I feel like I’m part of his entourage and he is a famous star. I can’t say enough good things about this place and the people who work there.  I love them.” Katydid K. was last modified: January 23rd, 2017 by geoff

“My son (now 8) enjoyed more than a year at Scuttlebugs and once my daughter was ready for care outside the home, we had no hesitation about returning to the Scuttlebugs family! My son transitioned from pre-K at Scuttlebugs to elementary school with ease, thanks in part to the excellent curriculum at Scuttlebugs.  Now in preschool, my daughter is greeted by name by each and every staff member, not just her teacher. Every staff member I have encountered is genuine and caring. My daughter is timid around other children and still sometimes struggles with drop-offs. Her teachers are so understanding and really help her to make a smooth transition each and every time.  Scuttlebugs offers dance, soccer and other extracurricular opportunities for the kids. This week they’re heading to the Pumpkin Patch on a school bus! I love that my daughter gets to have these experiences with her friends and peers and I have the luxury of being 100% confident that she is in the best of hands!” Bethany K. was last modified: April 16th, 2018 by geoff

“Scuttlebugs was a great program and my son really enjoyed each time he went.  The staff is always happy and helpful (something that is amazing when you deal with kids and demanding parents each day). The activities are creative and the kids love them.  The rooms and toys are big an padded which makes for a lot of tackling fun. I like and recommend to others.” Jessica S. was last modified: January 23rd, 2017 by geoff
