It is hard to overestimate the intellectual work that children complete while changing their approach to drawing between the ages of 2 and 4. Observing the development of their drawings carefully, it is possible to see the development of the phases of their understanding of the structure of the world around them. Children reflect this understanding in their drawings and thus give us the opportunity to see what is going on in their minds.

In summer time there are endless possibilities of fun activities to do and fun
places to go but on those rainy days your options are limited. Sometimes you just
gotta get out of the house! Luckily, I’ve found some local indoor places to take my
children to minimize the noise complaints from our downstairs neighbors. haha

I strongly believe teaching water safety to our young children is important: Making sure your child knows not to run on a pool deck; or dive into shallow water; how to properly move their body in the water to avoid over-exhaustion; and most importantly, to turn onto a back-float when they get tired or out of breath.
